Stairways in kindergartens and educational facilities require flooring that combines reliable commercial performance, easy maintenance and clear visual guidance.
For this colorful kindergarten stairway project, we supplied 2.0mm heterogeneous commercial vinyl sheet flooring with a 0.3mm wear layer, together with matching PVC stair nosing and finishing accessories.
The coordinated color scheme transformed the original staircase into a brighter and more engaging circulation area while helping distinguish individual steps and functional zones.

- Commercial Vinyl Stair Surface: The 2.0mm heterogeneous vinyl flooring features a tested 0.3mm wear layer and T-grade wear-resistance performance, making it suitable for regular commercial pedestrian traffic.
- Tested Slip Resistance: The vinyl flooring achieved test values of 0.52 under dry conditions and 0.55 under wet conditions, exceeding the reference values shown in the corresponding technical data sheet.
- Matching Stair Nosing: PVC stair nosing was installed to cover and protect exposed stair edges, improve step visibility and create a more complete transition between the horizontal and vertical surfaces.
- Color-Coded Stair Design: Different vinyl colors were coordinated across the stair treads, risers and surrounding areas to create a visually stimulating environment suitable for young children.
- Low Residual Indentation: The tested residual indentation result of 0.02mm helps the flooring maintain a stable and consistent surface under normal commercial use.
- Excellent Stain and Chemical Resistance: The flooring achieved an excellent result under ISO 26987, supporting convenient cleaning and maintenance in educational facilities.
- Tested Material Performance: Soluble cadmium, soluble lead and vinyl chloride monomer were reported as not detected under the corresponding GB test methods.
- Optional Surface Treatments: UV stain-resistant surface treatment is available. Antibacterial and povidone-iodine-resistant treatments can also be customized according to project requirements.
