EIR, or Embossed in Register, is a surface technology that aligns the embossed texture with the visual wood grain printed on the decorative film. This synchronized texture creates a more realistic wood appearance than standard random embossing while retaining the dimensional stability, moisture resistance, and convenient installation of rigid core SPC flooring.
Tested configuration: The following results are taken from the supplied technical parameter sheet for an SPC flooring sample with an overall thickness of 4.0 mm and a wear layer of 0.30 mm. Test documents for 5.0 mm, 6.0 mm, 6.5 mm, 0.50 mm wear layer, 0.70 mm wear layer, EIR surfaces, or attached underlayment constructions should be confirmed separately.
